Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what The Hause of Fades ("we", "us", "the shop"), collects when you use thehauseoffades.com, and what we do with it. The shop is at 19810 Village Center Dr, Fort Myers, FL 33913.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Join the Hause form. Name, email, phone number, social media handles, whether you hold a barber licence, when you could start, and why you want to join. This form is for barbers applying to work at the shop.
- Text opt-in form. Name and mobile number, plus your consent to receive texts.
- Calls and texts. If you call or text the shop, we keep the number you used and the content of the conversation so we can reply.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages and sections viewed, how far people scroll, and which links are clicked, including which barber's booking link. This uses cookies and similar identifiers. It does not tell us who you are.
- Advertising measurement. We use the Meta Pixel to measure whether our ads lead to bookings, calls, texts or applications. Meta may set cookies and may link activity to a Meta account under Meta's own privacy policy.
- Server logs. Our host records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
How we use it
- To reply to you when you call, text, or submit a form.
- To review applications from barbers who want to join the shop.
- To send text messages you have opted in to receive.
- To understand how the site performs and improve it.
- To measure advertising.
We do not sell your personal information.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you opt in on our Text Us page, or text the shop first, we may text you replies to your questions, booking help, and occasional updates from the shop. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out and HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of any purchase or service.
Your mobile number and your text messaging consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. They are used only to send you the messages you asked for, through our messaging provider acting on our behalf.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run our forms, messaging and customer records (LeadConnector / HighLevel), analytics (Google) and advertising measurement (Meta). They process data on our behalf.
- Booking platforms. Booking is done directly with each barber on their own platform: TheCut, Booksy, Setmore or Square Appointments. When you click a booking link you leave our site, and that platform's privacy policy applies to anything you enter there. We do not receive your booking details from them.
- Legal. If required by law or to protect the shop, its barbers or its clients.
Cookies
Analytics and advertising measurement use cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
How long we keep it
Form submissions, call and text records are kept for as long as needed to respond and to run the shop, then deleted or anonymised. Analytics data is retained per Google's default retention settings.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts.
- Email or call us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
- Use your browser's cookie controls, Google's Analytics opt-out, and your Meta ad settings.
Children
The site and our text messaging are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. A parent or guardian books and communicates on behalf of a child.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.
